Singer Spotlight: Jo Jinho (of Pentagon)
As promised, the next artist in the Singer Spotlight series is Jo Jinho, of Pentagon.
Jinho is the second main vocalist of PENTAGON. He is the oldest member of the group.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Jo Jinho was born on April 17, 1992, in Daejeon, South Korea. Prior to joining Cube Entertainment, he was a trainee at SM Entertainment. He was also part of SM's project boy group, SM the Ballad with members Jonghyun (Shinee), Kyuhyun (Super Junior), and Jay Kim (TRAX) from 2010-2014.
ARTIST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Jinho plays both the piano and the guitar. In addition, he lived in Qingdao, China for a year. Thus, he can speak Chinese. In PENTAGON's songs, he is the main vocalist and can reach high notes. He is also a fantastic rapper, as shown on Pentagon Maker performances. However, he does not rap for the group.
He showcases his talents through a monthly series on YouTube called JINHO - MAGAZINE HO. In this series, he releases song covers in both Korean and English. These covers are usually released on the last day of each month. His latest cover was of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.

Jinho also composed a song for a Korean drama that came out this year, called "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" along with rookie artist, Rothy from Dorothy Company. Their duet is called Just A Little Bit More.

Jinho recently participated in a musical called "Iron Mask", along with INFINITE's Dongwoo, B1A4's Sandeul, VIXX's Ken, and BTOB's Changsub. Iron Mask ran from September 13, 2018 - November 18, 2018.
Jinho also participated in another musical late last year to early this year, called "All Shook Up." His fellow cast members included B.A.P.'s Daehyun, Son Ho Young, Wheesung, Park Jung Ah, Heo Young Saeng, J-Min, Lee Ye Eun, and actress Seo Shin Ae. All Shook Up ran from November 24, 2017- February 11, 2018.
