Saplings & Buds

The sunrise greets you,

 its rays shine through sheer curtains.

Waking you up from your warm and cozy fort.

Closing the door behind you,

sleepy eyes slowly waking up to cool air and sunshine.

The cherry blossom tree outside your door

has started to bloom with saplings and buds.

Mug in your hands,

rays of sunlight behind you.
